The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel (the Georgia Center) is the only hotel located on the historic campus of the University of Georgia in Athens. Owned and managed by the University, our 38,000 sq. ft. of meeting/exhibit/banquet space and 200 hotel rooms and suites, offer the right space for every need.

Hotel -- Our full service hotel includes 200 rooms and suites in sizes and at price points to meet your needs. An on-site fitness facility and business center are available at no additional charge, and a staff known for A+ service is available 24 hours a day. Complimentary in-room Wi-Fi, safe, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker provide the conveniences of home.
Dining – On-site options abound -- on-site restaurants, including full-serve bar, coffee shop and full service dining, as well as banquet facilities. Nine different private rooms can accommodate your dinner for 4 or 450.

Foodies and non-foodies alike will both enjoy our location; we’re a pleasant walk to the Five Point area with numerous restaurant options and just stroll to vibrant downtown Athens – located at the north end of campus.

Our guests can enjoy everything from a round of golf on UGA’s championship golf course, a visit to the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, a swim in one of UGA’s three Olympic pools, a game of tennis, or a turn on one of our challenge courses, the choice is yours. The Georgia Center’s Shuttle Service is free to hotel guests and serves the local Athens area.
Location -- Athens, where the University is the “primary player,” is sited 70 miles east of Atlanta and Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. A commercial shuttle stops at our backdoor 20 times a day at a cost that is small town affordable!
